Princess Announces 2028–2029 Americas Cruises, Florida Sailings and Amazon Return
Princess Cruises has announced its 2028–2029 Americas program, a collection of more than 250 departures spanning the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Canada and New England, Hawaii, Mexico, the California Coast, South America, the Amazon and Antarctica.
What Florida cruise travelers should know
The Caribbean program includes 141 departures across 49 itineraries, ranging from five to 17 days. Princess says the season will use five gateways, including Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral, along with San Juan, New York and Barbados.
Across those Caribbean itineraries, the line plans visits to 24 destinations on 20 islands. Announced highlights include St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Cozumel, Puerto Rico and the ABC islands, with select late-night stays in Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire and Curaçao. Princess also says many itineraries will include one of three private-destination stops: Celebration Key in The Bahamas, Isla Tropicale in Roatán, or RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.
Individual departure dates, ships, cabin availability and total pricing vary by itinerary and should be confirmed before booking.
Princess is returning to the Amazon
The line says it will cruise the Amazon River for the first time since 2014, including scenic river cruising and a call at Santarém, Brazil. A new 64-day Circle South America voyage on Coral Princess is planned to combine Antarctica, the Amazon and a transit of the historic Panama Canal locks.
Princess also announced 13 South America departures across 11 itineraries, visiting 38 destinations in 16 countries aboard Majestic Princess and Coral Princess. The program includes 17-day Antarctica and Patagonia voyages and 15-day Cape Horn and Glaciers of Patagonia sailings.
Panama Canal and other Americas highlights
The 2028–2029 Panama Canal season includes 12 departures on nine itineraries of 16 to 20 days aboard Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Island Princess, Ruby Princess and Star Princess. Other announced highlights include a first Princess call at Îles de la Madeleine in Canada, the return of roundtrip Hawaii cruises from Vancouver, and overnight or late-night stays in selected ports.
Booking status and early-booking offer
Princess’s official October 13 announcement says the 2028–2029 Americas season is now on sale. It also advertises an Early Booking Bonus available through February 16, 2027, with up to $300 in instant savings, up to $300 in onboard credit, $100 deposits, early access to dining reservations and arrival groups, and a complimentary room-location upgrade. Maximum benefits will not apply to every booking; eligibility, availability, fare rules and full terms should be confirmed for the selected sailing.
