Princess Expands Sanctuary Collection to Five More Ships
Princess Cruises is expanding its premium Sanctuary Collection experience to five additional Royal Class ships in 2027: Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Discovery Princess, Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess.
The change is especially relevant for Florida cruisers because Regal Princess will introduce Sanctuary Collection beginning with its transatlantic voyage departing Port Everglades on April 17, 2027. Sanctuary Collection staterooms on Regal Princess are scheduled to open for booking on November 5, 2026.
What Sanctuary Collection includes
Sanctuary Collection combines select suites, mini-suites, balcony and oceanview staterooms with access to private venues and upgraded service. Princess says guests can expect:
- Access to the adults-only Sanctuary Club for guests age 16 and older
- Access to the dedicated Sanctuary Restaurant with no reservation required
- Elevated stateroom amenities, priority services and curated programming
- Suite Lounge access for guests booked in Sanctuary Collection suites
Children booked in a Sanctuary Collection stateroom receive the other included benefits but cannot enter the adults-only Sanctuary Club.
Booking and onboard dates
- Royal Princess: book from October 22, 2026; onboard from January 4, 2027, with preview sailings beginning October 30, 2026
- Regal Princess: book from November 5, 2026; onboard from April 17, 2027
- Discovery Princess: book from December 4, 2026; onboard from April 24, 2027

What existing guests should know
Guests already booked in a stateroom that becomes part of Sanctuary Collection keep their confirmed stateroom, fare and package. Princess says the new Sanctuary benefits will be added without increasing the booked fare once the experience begins on that ship. However, Princess Premier is not automatically added to bookings made before the ship’s Sanctuary Collection booking date.
For eligible new Sanctuary Collection bookings made after each ship opens for sale, Princess Premier is included. Princess also says the former Sanctuary space on these ships will become the private Sanctuary Club, so day passes, loungers and cabanas will no longer be sold to other guests after the conversion.
